Reading Log: As a life long lover of all things historical fiction, the Dear Canada books are right at my alley. I loved how the book not only took you back to the hardship of the war of 1812 in Canada but it also showed the small details of daily life in this region during this time. I loved the story and the easy way it was written. Kids with many interests can find something in this book!
